Building Your Home

‘Innovative Steel Buildings’ has an easy design/ build process from concept to completion. With minimum fuss, together we create your new home.

Whether you have a floor plan you like, choose one of our plans or simply have a concept in mind, we work with you to individually design your home. In addition to your personal preferences, homes are designed specifically for their location, vista, access, environmental considerations and energy efficiency.

House Plans are then drawn up and Building Permit obtained. Building then commences.

Your home will generally be complete four to five months from slab, dependant on time of year and inclusions.

There are five stages to the build:

1. Base Stage.
In the case of a concrete floor this is when the slab is complete.

2. Frame Stage.
The frame is complete.

3. Lock-up Stage.
The home is essentially able to be locked up with roof, walls, windows
and external doors installed.

4. Fixing Stage.
Internal cladding, woodwork, joinery, bath, sinks and built in shelves are fitted.

5. Completion.
The home is complete in accordance with the contract documents.
